KOEDOESLAAGTE Trail Park is proud to present this 2-day trail run; designed to be spectacular, tough but doable and family orientated. The DECATHLON CRATER TRAVERSE offers a quality, affordable, mountain experience for visitors from the flatter surroundings around Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom, Meyerton, Vereeniging, Vanderbijl Park, Sasolburg and Welkom. For our Gauteng runners this will be a top trail experiences close to home. The event is hosted by Koedoeslaagte Nature Reserve, situated in the heart of the Vredefort Dome UNESCO World Heritage terrain.

Venue & Facilities
For our runners the venue offers ample parking and protection against adverse weather conditions in the Koedoesaal. There are dozens of picnic benches and spots, porcelain toilets, showers, a kiosk, food stalls and other activities; horse riding, pony rides, kayak rental, bicycle rental etc
